Cottonwood Shores and auto theft task force authorities have issued a public warning about a “dangerous felon,” wanted for crimes including illegal possession of a firearm and evading arrest.
On April 3, authorities received reports that Gregory Paul DeLoach, 33, of Burnet County was involved in criminal activity and may pose a threat to public safety.
“He's a bad guy. He's been identified in a burglary of a motor vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm and evading,” Cottonwood Shores Police Chief J. Liendo said. “Apparently he's known in the area. He has been in Burnet County.”
A vehicle burglary allegation prompted the most recent search for the suspect.
“He could be armed. Everyone needs to show caution,” Liendo said. “If he's seen, they need to call authorities.
