Marble Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Allie Hampton as Falls Career High School principal at the regular board meeting on Monday, June 17.
Hampton has been with MFISD for seven years of her 24 years of experience in education and served as the transition administrator before accepting the principal position. She replaces Yarda Leflet, who was promoted to executive director of instructional services.
“We're thrilled about this opportunity; this is an internal promotion,” MFISD superintendent Chris Allen said. “We like to take folks who have led the program and allow them opportunities to grow their leadership.”
During her time as transition administrator, Hampton worked closesly with Leflet, and she said she will continue the work that Leflet did as principal. . . .
