Llano County deputies nab drug dealing suspect

Llano County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant July 10 at 855 Wood Forrest, Kingsland, Llano County.

Around 7 p.m. deputies seized approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, firearms and paraphernalia at the residence.

The suspect, John Wesley Norris 29 years old, was later located at the Packsaddle Motel on RR 1431 Kingsland.

A search of his room yielded over 35 grams of methamphetamine,” according to an LCSO statement. Norris was booked in to the Llano County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver with a $30,000 bond.

Deputies have been investigating Norris’ narcotics dealings for more than a year,” the statement read. “He is believed to be a major dealer of methamphetamine in Llano and surrounding counties.”

Norris has since bonded out of jail.
