Horseshoe Bay candidates file for city council election

Two veteran Horseshoe Bay City Council members will face off against each other to become the next mayor during the Nov. 5 election.

Reagan Lambert and Dr. Cynthia Clinesmith are foregoing running for re-election to their respective council seats and will instead seek the top elected office for the city as incumbent Mayor Steve Jordan reaches his term limit and cannot run again.

Meanwhile, there will be at least two new members of City Council as three candidates are seeking the positions being vacated by Lambert and Clinesmith. They include Randy Rives, Linda Burling and Frank Hosea. . . .
