The new tax rate for fiscal year 2020 will be 27 cents per $100 valuation, which represents a 5.85 percent increase above last year's rate of 26.702 cents. It includes a maintenance and operations tax rate of 23.164 cents and an interest and sinking (debt service) rate of 3.836 cents.
