Group labels Burnet, Llano voter website 'not secure'

A grassroots non-profit organization has labeled the elections websites for Burnet and Llano counties “not secure” in its latest survey of Texas county websites.

Overall, the League of Women Voters of Texas gave the Llano County website a score of 80 points, which earns a ranking of “Very Good,” while the Burnet County site only received 65 points, which earns a ranking of “Good.”

The 2020 election year is almost upon us. Texas voters will be inundated with campaign messaging,” said Grace Chimene, president of the League of Women Voters of Texas. …
