Horseshoe Bay's historic Fuchs House goes on the market

For nearly seven years, the City of Horseshoe Bay has tried to preserve the historic Conrad Fuchs House, but the task proved daunting in terms of the time and money needed to complete the project.
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, the Horseshoe Bay City Council officially pulled the plug on municipal efforts to renovate the city's oldest existing building and agreed to list the property for sale — albeit with covenants in place that would require a new owner to preserve the exterior structure and make the site available to the public during reasonable hours. …
