A&E to feature local attorney's manslaughter acquittal case

A new documentary series on A&E Network will offer an intimate and compelling look into a local man's journey from being accused to being acquitted of manslaughter and aggravated assault charges following a horrific 2016 car accident in Llano County.

The next episode of “Accused: Guilty or Innocent,” which airs at 9 p.m. CDT May 19, documents the case of Jason McCombs with unprecedented access through the planning of his legal defense with attorney Austin Shell of Shell & Shell; time McCombs spent with his family contemplating his fate; the trial; and, ultimately, the verdict handed down in October 2018 in the 33rd/424th Judicial District Court. …
