Marble Falls native Amber Westerman releases first single

Amber Westerman, who grew up in Marble Falls, first picked up a guitar at age 17. Her love of music has taken her from Texas to Iowa to Hawaii and now to Nashville. Listen to her new single "Your Homebody" and read more about her journey at amberwestermanmusic.com.

Amber Westerman's travels have taken her to Iowa, Hawaii and her current home of Nashville, Tennessee, but the singer-songwriter's roots remain firmly grounded in her Marble Falls upbringing.

Westerman released her first single, “Your Homebody,” on Friday, May 15, on Youtube.

Described as a “sweet, buoyant song about the bond between Amber, her boyfriend (Philip Schechter, who plays the djembe on the track) and times the enjoy at home together,” the song invokes the Aloha Spirit of the Big Island of Hawaii while also showing off the heart and soul of the Texas music she grew up listening to as well. …
