The Marble Falls Pro Rodeo lassoed top entertain this year. Nashville recording star Genevieve Allen performs at the dance that closes Saturday night action. The first night of competition is tonight, Friday, July 14. The annual Marble Falls Rodeo Parade on Main Street is at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, and Allen follows the Saturday night competition.

The 61st Annual Marble Falls Rodeo will be going on tonight, Friday, July 14, and tomorrow, July 15, culminating with a performance by Nashville recording artist Genevieve Allen.

Historic Main Street in Marble Falls will be scene of the 10 a.m. Rodeo Parade Saturday.

From the Dynamite Dames grand entry to the Saturday dance with Genevieve Allen and all the Marble Falls Rodeo action in between, events are scheduled for the nighttime. But Saturday morning at 10 a.m. don't miss the Marble Falls Rodeo Parade. View it from historic Main Street and bring the kids.

Youth rodeo Wednesday, July 12 will kick off the 61st annual Marble Falls Rodeo, with events continuing through Saturday night, July 15, at the Charley Taylor Rodeo Arena.

Admission is free for the first two nights, so fans can whet their rodeo appetites on pole bending and barrel racing and other sports for youngsters from four counties at the Marble Falls Youth Rodeo Friday and move on to enjoy the slack night events like steer saddling, team roping, tie-down roping and breakaway roping heats on Thursday night.

“We always try to make sure the rodeo goes exactly two hours,” said Marble Falls Rodeo Publicity Chairman Mike Dyer. “Overflow goes to the slack rodeo.”
