Mildrena Eva Shields Bracksieck took her last breath on earth Friday, June 10, 2016 in Lakeway, Texas. She follows her beloved husband, Charles Edward Bracksieck who passed on Feb. 20, 1999. Mildrena was affectionately known as “Drena” by so many.
Drena was born on Sept. 30, 1927 to Milton Allen and Vera Rowena Fountain Shields in Elsa, Texas. Drena was the middle of three children, Milton Allen Shields, Jr.; older brother and Loretta Shield Ewart, younger sister both deceased.
Throughout her youth, Drena was actively involved with her church, her school, and her community.
