Early voting posts meager first week in Burnet County

Early voting continues through Friday, Feb. 28. Election day is March 3.

Elections officials have reported a “meager” first week of early voting in Burnet County for the primary elections featuring the presidential race and contested congressional races as well as county and judicial positions.
“It's been somewhat disappointing,” Burnet County Elections Administrator Doug Ferguson said. “When you considered the last presidential (primary) election in 2016, we're voting about 100 people fewer per day than then.” …
