Marble Falls ISD promotes free Wi-Fi access for students

Marble Falls Independent School District has placed buses with Wi-Fi access around the Highland Lakes community to help students access the internet, while school closures continue due to COVID-19 restrictions.
MFISD buses will be locked and no entry will be available. Users can connect to the Wi-Fi by parking near or around a designated school bus. Buses will be parked for access from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following public locations:
• Cottonwood Shores: Community Park – 4111 Cottonwood Drive;
• Granite Shoals: Crockett Park – Sherwood Forest Drive & East Granite Castle Drive; El Tapatillo Restaurant parking lot – 6924 RR 1431; Valley View Park – 1512 Kingston Drive;
• Horseshoe Bay: The Church at Horseshoe Bay – 600 Hi Ridge Road;
• Spicewood: Spicewood Beach – 207 Golf Course Drive.
In addition to the locations above, free Wi-Fi is available at the following locations:
• MFISD campus parking lots – school-issued devices should automatically connect;
• Marble Falls High School – the access point is located on the athletics side of the student parking lot;
• Marble Falls Middle School – located on the gym side parking lot from the technology building;
• Colt Elementary, Highland Lakes Elementary, Marble Falls Elementary and Spicewood Elementary – located at the front of the building visitor side parking lot. …
