He was a retired rancher and professional Rodeo Cowboy. He and his wife Peggy lived on the ranch in Round Mountain up until his health called for a move to San Saba, Texas.

Connie Lynn Oliver, 59, of Burnet, went to be with her gracious heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She was born in Burnet, Texas on May 4, 1960. She was a loving, caring mother, wife, and friend. She was a wonderful person with a very generous and giving heart. She was loved by all that knew her and she touched the lives of many. Connie will be truly missed by all of us.

She managed a Farmers Insurance Agency in Burnet, Texas for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James V. and Annie F. Greeson; and husband, Scott J. Oliver. She is survived by her son, Cody Matthew Oliver; and numerous friends and family. Pallbearers are Cody Oliver, Kristopher Ulbricht, Ty Wynn, Dillon Hanks, John Dirba, and Jem Woods. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Ulbricht, Charlie Slangal, Damon Hensel, Raul Reyesibarra, and Mick Wynn.

Friends and family are invited to attend Curtis’ funeral service on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Llano City Cemetery, 299 St Mary, Llano, Texas. A gathering at the Chapman residence, 216 Lagitos Ln, Llano, Texas, will immediately follow the service.

He began working at the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1962 in San Antonio, Texas.
