John M. (Jack) Tate went to join his mother, father, his brothers and sister and two previous wives in Heaven on Monday, May 25, 2015.

For Jack, to have gone to Heaven on Memorial Day was very befitting as he was very proud to have served his country during World War II.

Jack was born in Drummonds, Tennessee, on Dec. 12, 1926. He lived many years in Memphis, Tennessee, and was the owner of Jack Tate’s Restaurant Supply there.

Because his first wife, Patricia Chaffee Tate, was in bad health, he sold his business and moved to Durango, Colorado.

After Patricia’s death, he later married Ollie Oldam.  They moved to Kingsland, Texas, where Ollie passed away.

Later, Jack married Wilma Molpus and she survives him.
