Norma Fay Langlet, 90, died in Willow Park, Texas, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Burnet, with the Rev. Joe Winett officiating.
Langlet was born in Dayton, Ohio, and lived there with her husband, Raney Langlet, until 1984, when they built a house in Kingsland to be closer to her daughter, Becki Waugh, and her family.
Langlet was a member of the Highland Lakes Church or Christ. She enjoyed fellowship with her church family and her home on the water.
She will be remembered by those who knew her best as a loving Christian wife, mother and grandmother.
Despite many years of poor health she is also remembered for her smile.
She was preceded in death by: her husband of 48 years, Raney (in August 2001), and, her son, Mark in February 2010.

Velmer (Val) Dale Steckman, 91, of Burnet, died on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014.

He was born May 1, 1923, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota.

 Steckman flew 36 missions as a bombardier in World War II and received numerous awards including the Oak Leaf Cluster.  He retired from the Air Force in 1971. 

He was preceded in death in 2004 by his wife Elberta Steckman.

He is survived by: his wife, Beverly Bennett Steckman, three children and numerous grandchildren. 

A family service is planned for a later date with final internment in the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery.

Bryan Lee Randle, 24, of Granite Shoals died suddenly and unexpectedly on Jan. 18, 2015. 

He was born May 22, 1990, in Round Rock to Robert Randle, Jr. and Sherry (Cook) Randle. 

He grew up in Granite Shoals and went to school in Marble Falls.

He enjoyed being with and hanging out with his friends and also his car. He worked for many years at Ridgley Roofing and also enjoyed his work at Horseshoe Bay at the golf course as a greens keeper. 

Randle is survived by: his parents, Robert and Sherry Randle, Jr. of Granite Shoals; his brother, Robert Randle III of Granite Shoals, and maternal grandmother Carolyn Cook of Stephenville.  He is also survived by other family and his friends.  

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Robert and Annie Ruth Randle, Sr.
