Season football tickets offered

Quarterback Brennen Wooten had a solid sophomore season to earn him a scholarship offer from TCU. Wooten has committed to the TCU program, but still has two years left to play at Marble Falls High School.

Season football tickets for Marble Falls High School are up for renewal. The tickets can be renewed at the MFISD Central Office. For 2014, each season ticket package includes five home games at $45 total. Special senior season tickets are available for just $10. Senior ticket holders must be 65 years or older. Fans interested in getting on the waiting list for reserved seating are encouraged to call the Central Office at 830.693.4357.

Volleyball starts drills Monday at Copeland

It’s been two dry runs through the district for Marble Falls volleyball, but Marble Falls coach Julie Downs is confident the Lady Mustangs will break through with some veteran leaders on the team this season. Marble Falls opens volleyball drills Monday at Max Copeland Gym. The Lady Mustangs return a core seniors and some promising underclassmen to build their team around for the 2014 fall season.
