Marble Falls defensive coordinator Chad Bishop said freeing up the linebackers will be a key to the success of this year’s defense.
The Mustangs have some solid linebackers in Travis Dilworth, Jeff Ramey and Chris Carter.
Dilworth is a veteran and has impressed in preseason workouts.
“Travis is going to be good,’’ Bishop said. “He has good ball skills and he is aggressive.’’
Carter gives the defense some versatility with his ability to play outside and man the end position on different calls.
“He’s hard to block,’’ Bishop said.
