A school bus carrying about a dozen students on its way to an elementary school and a second vehicle collided on Ranch Road 1431 East of Marble Falls on May 29, resulting in at least one serious injury and a temporary roadway closure.

Crain takes the reins after previous head coach Matt Bailey accepted the position at Tomball Memorial earlier this month.

As the time approaches for Marble Falls Independent School District to pass an operating budget for the 2019-2020 school year, the status of House Bill 3 is making it difficult for administrators to put solid numbers on paper.

Brian Herman was named the new head football coach for Marble Falls High School on Monday, April 15. Herman and his family were introduced to those in attendance at the school board meeting by MFISD Superintendent Dr. Chris Allen. The public is invited to a meet and greet at the Max Copeland Gym on Monday, April 22 from 5 to 7 p.m.
