Barbara was married to Kenneth Bertling of Marble Falls on Nov. 17, 1956.
Both were graduates of Marble Falls High School Class of 1953.

Peggy Wynell Adair White passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Seton Medical Center, Austin.
Peggy Adair White was born on March 3, 1970 in Nederland, to Betty Lou (Anderson) and Terry C. Adair and was raised in the Texas Hill Country.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Betty Lou (Anderson) Adair and Terry C Adair and her sister Anita Adair.
Survived by son, Kenly Klaproth of Lampasas; brothers, Julius Adair of Kingsland, Audie Adair of Marble Falls, and Kenneth Adair, of Kingsland; and Shawn Ray Scott.
Peggy will be remembered for her strength and perseverance with her life long struggle with diabetes.
Memorial service will held in the chapel of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Kingsland, TX on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10 a.m.

Jared Dale Hall, 64, of Marble Falls passed peacefully in his sleep on April 8, 2016.
Dale was born Nov. 6, 1951 to Alfred and Geraldine Schooley Hall.
Dale attended Marble Falls public school and worked at a local lumber company.
He enjoyed caring for the trees he planted on the family homestead where he lived all his life.
Dale is survived by sisters Reba Conn and Vonda Miller.
He is also survived by a brother Doyle Hall and wife Darlene; as well as numerous nieces and nephews including Ed Comer.
For the past three years Ed and Doyle have been caretakers for Dale and Reba striving to improve their living conditions.
Dale is predeceased by his parents, sister Carolyn Comer Seals; brothers Glenn Hall and infant Davie Joe Hall.
No services are planned.

Anchor Vivian G. Gray passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the age of 92.
She was born July 1, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to Brown and Blanche Grissom.
Vivian is survived by her son, Matthew Gray and wife Melissa of San Antonio; daughter, Gail Rogers of Meadowlakes; granddaughter Elizabeth Chambers of Katy, and sister Ruby Lois Myers and Husband Harris of Bonham.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Clyde Gray.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Clements Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Marble Falls.
Internment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.

Julia Evelyn Johnson, age 87, of Odessa, passed from this life to her eternal home in Heaven at her residence on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
She was born in San Angelo, on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1928 to the late John and Marguerite (Hardin) Nettleton.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist of Gardendale and loved her church family very much. She was also a school teacher.
Evelyn was very opinionated, had lots of spunk and wouldn’t mind voicing her opinion.
She loved to dance, play bridge and to visit Lake Buchanan.
Evelyn was a school teacher in El Paso, Sanderson, Odessa, Round Rock, Rock Springs and Wink. She enjoyed teaching 4th & 5th grade the most.

This beloved gentle soul, peacemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loyal friend Betty J. Dobrowolski (Forskett) passed away peacefully Saturday, April, 2, 2016, at the age of 87.
This loving wife was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William J Dobrowolski II.
Her survivors' are son William J Dobrowolski III; daughter Lynda M Brown; daughter-in-law Tonda K Dobrowolski; son-in-law Tim Brown; six grand children, 11 great-grandchildren, distant relatives, and many close friends.
Service to honor this woman and her long life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Putnam Funeral Home Chapel, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas 78639.

In loving memory of our beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, Rebecca Lorraine “Becca” Cude.
She was born Dec. 3, 1978 to Erin Thomas and Randall Thomas in Lawton, Oklahoma.
She grew up in Midland, Texas and was a graduate of Midland High School.
Becca is survived by her loving husband Edward Cude of Marble Falls, and four children, Emily, Kelsey and Kasen Cude of Marble Falls and Hailey Avery of Midland, who were her world.
She also leaves behind her mother, Erin Thomas of Stephenville; her father, Randall Thomas of Big Spring; sister Jenna Dahlberg of Abilene; in-laws Joe and Pat Cude of Stephenville and family as well as a large circle of friends and “adopted” family.

Olivia Carvalho Valone, 86, of Marble Falls, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

She was born in Chavantes, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Olivia was married to a passionate Brazilian-Italian man, Americo Valone, for 52 years.

Through their love and devotion, they gave life to two daughters, Berenice V. Dugain and Valeria V. Duran who later married and started their own families.

Olivia loved her two son in laws, Daniel B, Dugain and Diego David Duran and treated them as her sons as well.

Her greatest treasures were her four grandchildren, Matthew, 17, Sarah, 15, Logan, 14 and Isabella, 12.

Besides her husband, her other passion was cooking.

She instilled the value of family traditions by gathering family and friends together to enjoy her authentic Italian dishes.

She took pleasure seeing everyone enjoying her “signature meatballs”.

Payton Rayne “Precious Payton” Martinez passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Llano at the age of 4.

She was born May 25, 2011 in Round Rock, Texas to Emoryee Berreles and Omar Martinez Jr. She loved watching YouTube videos, opening surprise blind bags, planting and picking flowers with her Mimi, digging for worms, long baths, strawberry ice cream, going to Mimi and Pawpaw’s, playing with her dog, Peppa Pig, going to Journey fellowship and tickling her favorite guy, James.

Precious Payton also loved playing hide and seek, stomping bugs, treasure hunting, playing in the sand at her G’pa’s, going to the zoo, eating cheese dip at Rosita’s, visiting with Laurie and Steven, going to the ranch with her Susan, going to pre-k, playing with Jancie and Taylee and numerous other things.

Fanny Mary Penny Higgins, 74, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at her home just west of Burnet.

She was born Aug. 5, 1941, in Marble Falls to Washington and Margaret May (Wilson) Penny.

Fanny worked for many years at the Bluebonnet Café in Marble Falls and also for Lois Shell at her café.

She was the glue that kept all the family together and she would always take everybody in.

Fanny is survived by her sons Victor O’Donald Higgins of Kingsland, Terry Robert Higgins of Lampasas, and JC Haley of Granite Shoals.

Also surviving are grandchildren Jennifer, Heather and Terry Jr. and great-grandchildren Nathanial, Jeramy, Gabrial and Gunner.

She is preceded in death by 21 brothers and sisters; her parents; husband Floyd; daughter Shannon; son Timothy and great-granddaughter Mary.

A Memorial Service for Fanny will be held soon after the cremation.
