Nancy Blasa Ribera Garcia, 82 years young of Cottonwood Shores, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016.

She was a daughter of Martin and Maria RomeroRibera born in Cypress Mills, Texas on Feb. 3, 1934.

She was raised in Round Mountain, Texas until her marriage to Zaragosa L. Garcia in 1956. They resided in Marble Falls until 1971 when they moved to Cottonwood Shores.

Nancy was loved by everyone who knew her.

In loving memory of our bright light – a son, a brother, a nephew, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, and a boyfriend – Dominic was many things to all who knew him.

Dominic Cullen Downey was born on May 15, 1992, in Houston, Texas, and died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the age of 23 years.

He left this world all too soon.

Dominic is survived by: his mother, Charlene Tonning; father, Joseph Downey, and step-father, Sean Tonning, as well as his four sisters, Bridget Colleen, Kelsey Ann, Mary Genevieve and Erin Elaine.

He also leaves behind: his brother-in-law, John Jarrett; nephew, Cullen, and niece, Genevieve.

His girlfriend, Hayley Hammonds, quickly became a member of the family and their love was the kind that people could see clearly.

Dominic was a very talented artist and writer, and his soul was all too tender for this world.

DonLee Patton, born on May 1, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, left this earth on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the age of 57 years. 
DonLee graduated from Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, and successfully completed numerous auto industry technical schools obtaining his ASTD and many other certifications and awards at an early age.

His other love was computers and he spent six years as a logistic coordinator supervisor with KBR in Iraq.

Retired MSgt. James Michael “Mike” Luce, 73, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and formerly of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

He was born to James Franklyn Luce and Goldie Olivia (Hamilton) Luce on Sept. 25, 1942, in National City, California.

He grew up in California and Texas, before enlisting in the United States Air Force on Dec. 15, 1960. While stationed in California he met Vera Jane Aytes. They married on Aug. 15, 1964. They had three children, Carol, Janice and James.

His service to our country included three tours to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Other duty stations included the United Kingdom, Idaho, California, Oklahoma, Iceland and Michigan before retiring on Aug. 31, 1981.

Terry was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee.

He went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 14, 2016, at the age of 60 years.

Terry is survived by Chris Harrington Miller, his loving wife of 32 years.

Terry and Chris have lived in Harker Heights, Nacogdoches and Marble Falls.

Terry is also survived by his daughter Sherry Hietpas and son-in law Major Andrew Hietpas and step-son David Crum; his father and mother, S.E. and Ruth Miller; his brother Gary Miller and sister-in law Bonnie Miller of New Mexico and granddaughters Anna, Emily, Rachel Hietpas and Kiona, Alexandria and Faith Robbins.

Terry was a dedicated employee of Sysco Foodservice for 29 years.

He transferred to Sysco Central Texas in 1997 where he developed many friends and customers in the Hill Country area.

He is survived by: his wife, Sarah, seven children, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Hazel Irene Hathaway Norman, affectionately known by her family as ‘Nanny’ flew from this earth to walk through the Pearly Gates into the loving arms of her Savior and join her husband, Horace Harry Norman, Friday, March 4, 2016 after a beautiful day surrounded by those she loved and loved her deeply.

Hazel lived a long and full life of 95 years.

Peacefully, in her sleep, she passed away of natural causes in Marble Falls where she has been a resident for 44 years.

Hazel was born on Aug. 1, 1920, in Vale, Oregon, to Viola Anne Monson and Herbert G Hathaway; she was a big sister to two brothers, Albert and Herbert.

She married Horace, her soulmate and love of her life, on Aug. 30, 1949.

Madeline Philpott-Keenan, 90, of Kingsland, Texas, died on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital– Marble Falls.

She was the wife of James Keenan and the late John Stanley Philpott.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Kentucky. Madeline devoted her life to her family and God’s work as a Sunday School teacher and spiritual leader.

She guided her family through biblical teachings such as III John 2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as your souls prosper.”
