Theodore Leo Lutringer

Theodore Leo “Ted” Lutringer, 84, a longtime resident of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away

peacefully with his family on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in Slaton, Texas.

Ted was born on Feb. 4, 1932, in Taiton, Texas, to Leo Lutringer and Ludmilla Marie Scotka.

He graduated from El Campo High School and attended The University of Houston where he

played football and earned a B.B.A in Accounting.

He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Christenberry, and they were married for 55 years before her passing.

After serving in the U.S. Army, he began a long career in the oil and gas business, retiring in 1981 as the Controller of Mesa Petroleum Co. of Amarillo, Texas.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church, an outdoorsman and a loving family man.

Pamela Fawnette Ingram Hardin

Nov. 3, 1953~Feb. 6, 2016

Pamela Fawnette Ingram Hardin was born Nov. 3, 1953, in Portales, New Mexico, to Fawnette and Eugene Ingram. She passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, in Round Rock, Texas. 

She is survived by: her husband of 33 years, Dwight Hardin, of Burnet; stepsons, Justin Hardin (Brittany and Ethan) of Paxton, Nebraska, and Jared Hardin (Andrea, Ava, Lane and Luke) of Sutherland, Nebraska; brothers, Kim Ingram (CiCi) of Lakeland, Florida, and Kevin Ingram (Charlene) of Longview, Texas; mother-in-law, Carolyn Hardin of Round Rock, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam grew up in El Paso, Texas, and her family moved to Austin during her senior year in high school.

She started working at Tracor in 1976 and, under the tutelage of Faye Word and Murray Shaw, eventually became the EEO officer for the company.

Paul David John McLean

April 19, 1956~Jan. 19, 2016

Paul David John McLean, 59, was born on April 19, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, and died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, in Austin, Texas. 

Paul was a loving father, brother, son and friend to so many. 

He was filled with life, energy and laughter, always greeting others with a smile, and had a great quality of listening and making others feel special.

His greatest pride and joys were his daughter, Sara Patricia, and his granddaughter, Eva Ryan.

His love for his wife, Sandra McLean Gracia, knew no bounds.

Paul attended St. Bernards, Bishop Lynch and graduated from Bryan Adams in Dallas.

He decided to switch to Bryan Adams because they had the first computer class, which was going to be his passion for his career.

He attended East Texas State University and The University of Texas in Austin. 

Diana Jo Wood

Dec. 16, 1933~Jan. 17, 2016

Diana Jo Wood of Marble Falls, Texas, died on Sunday Jan. 17, 2016, following a long struggle with heart problems.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls, where Diana was an active member.

Burial will be in the Kirkwood Cemetery in London, Ohio.

Diana is survived by: her children, Susan and husband, Mark, Carl, Kenneth and wife, Rhonda, Douglas and wife, Emma, Nancy and husband, Max, and Kathryn and husband, Bryan, and her grandchildren, Robert, Caitlin, Taylor Ann, Valerie, Jewel Nicole, Allison, Samantha, Kristin, Tori and Laura.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Wood.

Diana is the daughter of Olga and Frank Wood, early settlers of Marble Falls and founding members of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Duane Loyd Nobles

Dec. 18, 1933~Jan. 8, 2016

On Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, Duane Loyd Nobles of Tow, Texas, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 82 years.

Duane was born on Dec. 18, 1933, in Wink, Texas, the son of L. Z. “Dick” and Octavia Nobles. He was the sixth in a line of 12 siblings.

Duane graduated from Wink High School and received a full four-year scholarship to Texas A&M University playing football. However, prior to completing his degree, he left A&M to join the U.S Army. 

After basic training, he was shipped to Germany where he continued his passion by playing football for the Army throughout Europe. 

While in the Army, he married Glenda Nell Stephens. 

After military service, the couple resided in Andrews, Texas, and had their son, Stacey. 

They lived there until 1961 when they moved to Odessa, Texas, where he was employed by Rexene Chemical Plant south of town. 

Robert Lee Glover

Robert “Bob” Lee Glover was born Dec. 16, 1940, in Van Zandt County, Texas, to Leo and Adene Glover.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at the age of 75 years.

Bob graduated from Kountze High School in 1958 and earned his Master's Degree in Education from Sam Houston State College in 1969.

Upon graduation he began teaching vocational agriculture and taught at Huntsville High School and Katy High School.

In 1985, Bob joined the Texas General Land Office where he served in many capacities including Director of Land Management until his retirement in 2003.

Bob enjoyed flying, boating, sailing, fishing, NASCAR, gardening and restoration projects.

He was a great friend and mentor.

He loved visiting and helping family, friends, neighbors and people in the community.

Emil Max Stieler

The greatest generation lost one of its finest members on Friday, Jan. 06 2016.

Emil Max Stieler exemplified what it means to be a family man and a true Texan.

He answered his country's call and served proudly in World War II in the South Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army.

Upon his return he spent many years ranching in the Texas Hill Country and took joy in teaching his granddaughters about life on the ranch.

He will be missed by many.

He was born in Gillespie County, Texas, the son of Gus and Mata Hart Stieler. They preceded him in death, as did his wife, Minetta Hope Stieler, five brothers, one sister and one daughter-in-law, Sandy Stieler.

He is survived by: his son, Ricky Wayne Stieler; six grandchildren, Natasha Stieler, Heather Marlow, Tommy Davis, Kenneth Davis, Stephanie Bass and Rick Morris; 14 great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and dear friends.

Sherry Lee Pritchett

July 22, 1944~Jan. 7, 2016

Sherry Lee Pritchett, 71, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, and formerly of Lampasas, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at her home.

Sherry was born July 22, 1944, in Lampasas, the daughter of Kellis Elder and Laura Smithwick Elder.

She attended local schools and after graduation attended the College of Cosmetology in Killeen to earn her beauty license.

She owned and operated Sherry’s Coiffeurs.

Sherry loved pets, shopping and arts and crafts.

Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Debra Barker of Georgetown; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Chris Allen of Austin; grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers and husband, Mark, Ryan Barker and Brandi Allen, and, three great-grandchildren, Haelyn Rogers, Hope Rogers and Hunter Rogers, as well as close friend, Martell Biddle, of Buchanan Dam.

Dixie Ann Moore

Feb. 26, 1953~Dec. 25, 2015

Dixie Ann Moore, 62, beloved mother and grandmother and a resident of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, in her home.

Dixie was born on Feb. 26, 1953, to Charles Adams and Ouida Young Adams.

Her parents preceded her in death, as did her spouse, David Moore.

She is survived by: sons, Tony Denbow of Kingsland, Chris Denbow and wife, BriAnna, of Amarillo and Benjamin Moore of Morristown, Arizona; sisters, Karen Davis and husband, Nolan, of Granite Shoals and Judy Cravens of Marble Falls; brother, Joe Adams of Marble Falls; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials to Dixie may be made in the form of donations to The American Cancer Society or the Livestrong Foundation.

Jack Edward Caylor

Mr. Jack Edward Caylor of Victoria, Texas, born on Sept. 7, 1930, in Jasper, Texas, to Chester and Lottie Caylor went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at the age of 85 years.

Jack retired after 34 years with Exxon.

His hobbies included fishing, gardening and hunting and he attended Faith Family Church.

Those who knew Jack were aware of his deep love and devotion to his wife of 65 years, his fond affection for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his unwavering faith in God.  

Although he will be greatly missed, his family has been left with a legacy of love that far surpasses any grief felt by his absence.  

Our father built his life on things eternal and is now holding onto God’s unwavering hand.
