Baylor Scott and White Health broke ground Monday, July 29 on the future home of its medical services in Burnet. The clinic will be located at 1500 East Polk Street, across from the Burnet County Sheriff's Office.

The 2019 Unity Bowl all-star football game on Friday, June 7 was the last chance for many high school graduates – including four Marble Falls High School graduates – to play organized football.

Several hundred residents, officials and dignitaries showed their support for the expedited completion of the Kingsland Ranch-to-Market 2900 Bridge during a ceremony May 24 which featured live music, ceremonial walks across the span and presentations.
The Burnet County Sheriff's Office faces a personnel gap at the jail and has offered to pay “competitive” salaries to coax potential employees to the facility.
