Marble Falls ISD school bus involved in crash on 1431 East

A Marble Falls ISD school bus and a vehicle collided around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29 on Ranch Road 1431 east near the intersection of Cimmaron Ranch Road. The children were loaded onto another bus and taken to school. Traffic was halted for at least two hours as crews cleared the scene.

A school bus carrying about a dozen students on its way to an elementary school and a second vehicle collided on Ranch Road 1431 East of Marble Falls on May 29, resulting in at least one serious injury and a temporary roadway closure.

TXDoT is hosting a ceremonial grand opening of the RM 2900 Bridge at 2 p.m. May 24 in Kingsland. The structure, which was washed away during the October flood, will soon be open to vehicle traffic following a fast-tracked schedule for completion.
