Blake Wade Meador, 43, of Anahuac, TX , was killed in a car accident on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016. Blake was born on May 3, 1973 in Houston, TX, and was the son of Royce A. Meador and Janie Cunningham Meador. Blake grew up in Marble Falls, Roby, and Sherman, Tx, graduating from high school in Marble Falls. As a child, Blake was active in the Boy Scouts in the Marble Falls area, played some football in Roby, and as a young teenager was an acolyte at Trinity Episcopal Church, Marble Falls. He made his home here until he moved to the Baytown area less than a year ago. He was Sales Manager of Maaco in Baytown and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church in Anahuac, where he was a member of the choir. Blake loved to fish and to play guitar, but his passion was his three children and his two grandchildren.

Destiny Joy Conatser-Barrow, 17, of Leander, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016.  She was born on March 4, 1999, in Round Rock, Texas. 
Destiny was preceded in death by her brother, Evan Langbein. 

She is survived by her mother, Tiffany Kammer of Leander; father, Glendon Jess Barrow of Bertram; sister and brothers, Kirstin, Nickolas and Tristan; grandparents, Glendon L. and Kathy Barrow; aunts and uncles, Gina Mitschke and husband Craig, Chris Barrow and wife Mendy, and Justin Hughes; as well as, numerous cousins and other family.
 Memorial services will be held at RockPointe Church in Leander, Texas, 1070 Co Rd 177, Leander, TX 78641, on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. 
Arrangements under the direction of Beck Funeral Home, 1700 E. Whitestone, Cedar Park.

Evan Karl-Lee Langbein, 16, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 in an untimely accident along with his sister, Destiny Conatser.

Evan was born July 19, 2000 in Round Rock, to Shane Langbein and Tiffany Conatser.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Suzanne Langbein and Tiffany Krammer; brothers, Tristan and Nicholas Dezaux; grandparents, Stephen and Judy Langbein and Steve and Shirley Harvey; great-grandmother, Dottie Lorenz; five uncles, Shawn Langbein and wife Tiffany, Travis Langbein and wife Elizabeth, C.J. Langbein, Stephen Harvey and wife Stacy and Shane and wife Sylvia; one aunt, Stephanie Haines and husband Lee.

Evan is also survived by his loving cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Larry Linnartz, director, lawyer, and friend of Horseshoe Bay Resort passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at his San Antonio home.

Larry was a, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him.

Larry was born on Nov. 13, 1944 a native Texan.

Mr. Linnartz attended Catholic School and was a graduate of Central Catholic in 1962 and St Mary’s University in 1967.

Following his voluntary joining of the U.S. Marine Corps he served his Country honorably during the Vietnam Era.

Following the Marine Corps, he returned to St. Mary’s University and graduated with this Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree.

The San Antonio District Attorney’s office was his home for five years then he entered private practice.

He had the credentials to try cases at the Supreme Court level and he also provided underwriting services for Lloyds of London.

Victor Vygandas Velicka born March 28, 1942, to Joseph and Natalija Velicka in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Victor went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Dec. 03, 2016.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Edward Velicka, his sister Aura Berry.

Victor is survived by his wife Linda Miller Velicka.

A twin brother, Al Velicka and wife Diana, twin sons, Joey Tidwell and wife Kelly, Robby Velicka and wife Lorra.

Vic has five grandchildren, Faith, Tanner and Riley Velicka, Shandon and Madison Tidwell, as well as many nieces and nephews in Connecticut and numerous cousins in Lithuania.

Victor’s family immigrated to Waterbury, Connecticut in January of 1949, it was at Waterbury that he started school at St. Joseph’s Elementary and graduated from Croft High School.

Born on Dec. 8, 1924 in Beloit, Wisconsin, she was the first of two daughters born to Frank and Clara (Kleinjan) Zima. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband and parents; sister, Muriel Jean Zima; son, John J. Good; stepdaughter, Mary Ann White; and son-in-law, Daniel W. Ames.

Vol Moore “Monty” Montgomery

Monty Montgomery was taken home by the “Big Boss” on November 8, 2016 at his home in Burnet, Texas. He lived a very full life enjoying hunting the brush country of south Texas, the Texas hill country, bay and offshore fishing in Port Aransas. He loved sharing his pastimes with his kids, grandkids and friends. He never met a stranger and his zest for life never wavered.

Monty was born on December 10, 1931 in Stamford, Texas and raised in over 40 small towns in north and west Texas. His father worked as an engineer building roads all over west Texas. They settled in Abilene and he graduated from Abilene High School.
